Frequently Asked Questions
What Is Steel Cladding Used For?
Sheets of steel cladding can be used in a multitude of ways across various projects. They’re most commonly used to clad the exterior of warehouses, factories and other industrial buildings. But many homeowners appreciate their industrial aesthetic and install them on garages or garden buildings too.
Most of our steel cladding sheets can be fitted at angles between 5° and 90°. This allows you to use them to clad the outer walls and roof of your building. The profiles also provides plenty of room for insulation to be installed, allowing you to control the temperature inside of a warehouse or factory where required.
How Are Metal Cladding Sheets Made?
Metal cladding sheets are manufactured in a range of corrugated profiles, the most popular of which is box profile. The steel is fed through banks of rollers which help to form the shape. The metals used will also have been pre-aged and coated with preservatives such as zinc to help prevent rust and corrosion. The sheets are also available in a wide range of hues to give homeowners the exact look they desire.
