Anti-condensation roofing sheets are designed to avoid this nightmare occurring within garden sheds, livestock buildings, commercial warehouses and more. Using an integrated Dripstop membrane, they absorb the moisture droplets before releasing it back into the air when the temperature has risen. This stops the moisture coming into direct contact with the cold roof sheet and dripping below.

Due to these roofing sheets being able to absorb up to 1.000g/m2 of water, they can handle even the highest levels of moisture build-up. This makes anti-condensation roofing sheets ideally suited for outbuildings that have a low level of insulation and are therefore more vulnerable to condensation.

Types of Dripstop Roofing Sheets

You are, therefore, able to buy both corrugated and box profile sheets with an integrated anti-condensation membrane.

Manufactured from either 0.5mm or 0.7mm steel, these sheets offer unrivalled strength and durability. Plus, they can be purchased with or without an exterior coating that offers added protection against chemicals and scratches. When this is combined with an anti-condensation membrane, you’ll struggle to find a longer lasting roofing solution.

Cost of Anti-Condensation Roofing Sheets

The cost difference between a corrugated or box profile sheet with and without dripstop can be as much as 40%. But if you’re storing valuable equipment, vulnerable haulage, or much-loved animals beneath the added expense is well worth it. This is as the damage caused by moisture will likely cost you far, far more over the 10 – 15-year lifespan of these roofing sheets.

Once installed, these dripstop roofing sheets will demand virtually no upkeep. This is as the integrated membrane uses PES fibres to trap the moisture before releasing it back into the air when the temperature has increased. At this point the moisture will evaporate and the membrane is given an opportunity to dry out.
