Lightweight Metal Roofing Sheet

Corotile is the latest advancement in lightweight roofing sheets. These metal roof sheets have been designed to fit on any roof, they can be overlapped with each other both at the side of the roof sheet and at the top without having to be cut or bent. Corotile can be installed extremely fast with very little wastage.

Corotile Metal Roofing Sheet Range The Corotile Lightweight Metal Roofing Sheet is made from high grade steel and coated with coloured stone granules. The advantages of this mean you get a strong and secure lightweight tile covering, whilst giving you the appearance of traditional tiles. It is also resistant to corrosive atmospheric conditions.

This metal roofing system will last up to 20 years and actually comes with a 15 year guarantee, subject to adherence to the manufacturer’s installation instructions.

Corotile can be installed straight down to a solid nail-able surface or instead be fixed to tile battens. Once again, this metal roofing system is ideal for most DIY roofing projects and will enhance the look and performance your building.

This fantastic product can be installed as low as 10 degrees all the way to 90 degrees (vertical). Each metal roof sheet covers 0.69m2. • 2 Corotile Lightweight Metal Roofing Sheet Ridge Corotile Lightweight Metal Roofing Sheet Barge Ridge After you have fixed all of the metal roof sheets securely into position on either side of the roof, you will be ready to attach the Ridge. The Corotile Ridge will make watertight where the roof meets in the middle at the apex.
The Ridge has an overall length of 910mm and cover length of 810mm. To calculate how many Ridge you require simply divide the length in metres by 0.810 and round up to the nearest whole number. For example if you have 5 metres of ridge it would be 5 divide 0.810 = 6.17 round this up to 7 ridge pieces. Add a ridge to your basket for :
  • 3Corotile Lightweight Metal Roofing Sheet Barge Cover Corotile Lightweight Metal Roofing Sheet Barge Cover The Barge Boards are the first item that you need to fix to the roof when installing the Corotile metal roofing system. The barge boards are to be installed to all sides of the roof.
The Corotile Barge has an overall length of 905mm and a cover length of 885mm. To calculate how many Barge you require simply divide the length in metres by 0.885 and round up to the nearest whole number. For example if you have 2 metres in length for each side (in our picture its 4 sides) it would be 2x4 = 8 metres. 8 divide 0.885 = 9.04 round this up to 10 barge pieces. Add a verge to your basket for :
  • 4Corotile Lightweight Metal Roofing Sheet Ridge End Cap Coroline Bitumen Ridge The Ridge End Caps are designed to fit at the end of the ridge. You will require one endcap for each gable end. Add an end cap to your basket for :
  • 5Corotile Lightweight Metal Roofing Sheet Screws Corotile Roofing Screws Each pack of Corotile Fixings contains 10 screws with washers. The rule of thumb for corotile fixings is very simple, you will require

    • 9 screws per metal roof sheet
    • 3 fixings per barge board
    • 4 fixings per ridge
    • 2 fixings per ridge end cap
Simply multiply the fixings by the number of each of the above items you require and divide by ten. Remember to always round up to the next number to ensure you have enough screws. Add a pack of 10 fixings to your basket for :

Jeff TrowerGreat product, really saved me time on the installation cost as it was so quick to install!Samantha HollowayThis product was within my budget, which was quite flexible. But I mainly chose it because it suited the roof of my house too. The roofers installed the whole roof from insulation to the accessories in 2 and a half days and had no complaints. There was 1 sheet left over and that was it, so estimation was almost perfect... which for a roof like mine was suprising. No complaints at all, fantastic product. Would 100% recommend to anybody!Tim WillisMy neighbour had just bought some corotile for his shed and recommended it to me, and now I'd recommend corotile to anyone.Lee GarmanFirst time using metal roofing tiles, installation was quick and easy, managed to install on my roof over the bank holiday. Would recommend.Jeromy SonicCorotile is easy to fit, budget enough for my standard and looks fantastic! Back to Top
